This evergreen shrub is slow growing and has a dwarf compact habit. In bloom it is very dramatic: abundant fragrant flowers open rich purple and fade to mauve and white over a few days, all through spring and early summer.

Australian Tree fern - one of the most tropical looking plants. Adds "Hawaii" spirit to your garden. It puts on growth very quickly. Easter Lily Cactus is native to Brazil and Argentina. It is a globular cactus that produces splendid night-blooming, white fragrant flowers up to 10" long.

Peregrina is an evergreen shrub or small tree with glossy leaves and clusters of star shaped bright scarlet flowers about 1 in across that are borne in multi-flowered terminal clusters almost all year round. Compacta is a smaller, more compact cultivar. Peregrina is tolerant of a wide variety of soils as long as they are well drained. Blooms on the current year's growth so it can be pruned at any time of the year.

Pink Peregrina - rare variety with baby pink flowers. A spectacular shrub in bloom most of the year. Makes a good potted plant but can also be used in a small garden and as border plant. It handles pruning well and can be kept to shrub size, trained to a tree form or used in espalier. Drought tolerant. It attracts butterflies and hummingbirds.

Coral Jatropha - small, miniature tree or medium size shrub. Red flowers look like corals, followed by curious yellow fruit. Exotic looking specimen plant, easy to grow, very tropical look. Drought tolerant. Can be grown in a pot, makes a nice palm-looking house plant.

Jatropha (Gout plant) is an attention grabber and a must in every tropical garden. It has a large bottle-like caudex and huge leaves up to 10-12 inches in diameter. The more shade, the bigger the leaves. Great natural bonsai. Makes a good potted plant but can also be used as a conversation piece specimen in a small garden.

Rare - Laos Silver Stripe is certainly one of the most beautiful of all the Kaempferia angustifolia cultivars. It is one of the large types and have boldly striped leaves of green and silver. The flowers are typical for the species, orchid shaped white and purple flowers that most often occur towards the beginning of the season. This hard to find variety is a must for any Peacock Ginger collector!

This rare species of Tabernaemontana is often confused with T. divaricata (commonly known as Pinwheel Jasmine) and T. orientalis (Banana Bush).
